The MPP200 is a 2-slot chassis that houses Visionary Solutions’ IPTV
Media Processing Platform blades. The Media Processing Platform is a
high density blade style system for IPTV transport. Slots can be
filled with VSI blade products such as the AVN220 or AVN420 encoder
blades. The MPP200 is designed to stand alone or be rack mounted
with one side "ear". LED status indicator lights and DC power input
are on one side, blades face out the other side.

MPP1700 - high density, rackmount, 17 channel Media Processing
Platform blade chassis for IPTV
The MPP1700 is a 3RU rack mount chassis that houses Visionary
Solutions, Inc.’s IPTV Media Processing Platform. The Media
Processing Platform is a high density blade style system for IPTV
transport.
Slots 1-17 can be filled with VSI blade products such as the AVN220
encoder. The PSA200 power supplies are used in slots 18 and 20 to
power the platform. Use one PSA200 or add an optional second PSA200
for dual redundant power supply support. The MPP1700 is designed to
be mounted in a standard 19 inch rack and to be oriented such that
the card insertion, cabling and indicators are facing out the front
of the rack. Only the AC power connection is located on the back of
the unit.

The PSA200 power supply is an International AC input (100-240VAC,
200 Watt) unit provided for the MPP1700. It complies with the
compact PCI standard, and is a 3U high 8HP wide. The power supplies
can be inserted into slots 18 and 20 of the MPP1700. Operation
requires only one power supply. However, when both are installed,
these supplies provided redundant load sharing. With both supplies
installed, power supplies can be hot swapped without interruption to
the system.
