IPTV
Monitoring Solution
Provides comprehensive IPTV video stream monitoring that includes
capture, analysis and metrics for transport, content, and quality in
a portable system.

Spectra2|Video Quality
Measurement
Spectra2|Video Quality Measurement (VQM) is a single-user software
package for Windows that uses a standard Network Interface Card (NIC)
to monitor RTP Video Streams. With support for up to four concurrent
video streams, users can diagnose a range of video-related problems
that include presence, accuracy, delivery, and objective quality
metrics.
Forward Error Correction
Forward Error Correction (FEC) is the key for a successful user
experience in turbulent IPTV networks. FEC integration of leading
edge and user-selectable algorithms allows Spectra2|VQM to report
both pre- and post-correction statistics in real-time.
Capture and View
Spectra2|VQM captures every single video packet for extensive
scrutiny. Users can also view the actual video streams before and
after error correction.
Statistics and Reports
Spectra2|VQM tracks selected metrics graphically in real time. Users
can export statistics to file or use the integrated online analysis
tools to browse historical data.
Perceptual Video Quality
Perceptual metrics for video quality are integrated directly into
Spectra2|VQM, and are based on the perceived quality as experienced
visually by the user. Non-intrusive metrics work in real time
without reference signals, allowing instantaneous quality
measurements.

Spectra2|VQM Monitoring Metrics
RTP Transport Metrics
In addition to the standard RTP statistics, these metrics are
collected for all IPTV streams.

These statistics are collected on each video stream for pre- and
post-FEC processing.
