Network
Monitoring
Globecomm delivers the highest quality of service in network
monitoring through its Network Operations Center, staffed
27/7 by both technicians and engineers experienced with satellite,
video and IP issues. The NOC monitors circuits on multiple levels to
ensure that service-level agreements are being met. In the event of
any incident, the monitoring system automatically triggers audible
and visual alerts, sends email to NOC technicians and key engineers,
and creates a trouble ticket to log and track the event.
Standard monitoring covers all satellite RF and IF components,
baseband equipment including routers and encoding platforms, and all
terrestrial connections to the Long Island International Teleport.
In addition to monitoring local operations, Globecomm offers
remote-site monitoring for multi-service VSAT and other two-way and
broadcast networks.
