VideoDirect Traffic and Billing software is the ideal companion to the VideoDirect 5000 Ad-Insertion server. The software provides an interface to the ad-insertion system, tracking commercial statuses and providing accurate schedules and updates to maximize the flexibility and reliability of the digital equipment.

Numerous reports are available for checking the status of encoded spots to ensure that all spots are in place before a schedule begins to play. Reports provide lists to encode required commercials for future scheduling.

Enter schedule and commercial rotation requirements into the VideoDirect Traffic and Billing system for client customization. Each order may be easily customized to fit each customer’s individual needs. The VideoDirect Traffic and Billing software enables commercials to air during specified start and stop days and times. Spots stored in the ad library may be added to a schedule with ease at any time. A schedule and insertion log will automatically be generated and prepared for distribution for each channel.

The transfer of aired spots for automated verification and invoicing is provided. Automated log fill, backward verification and make-goods are also available. Commercials airing within the contracted time are automatically verified. Commercials not airing during the specified time are automatically placed in a future schedule when possible. The status of each commercial is tracked to assist with rescheduling and invoicing. ETI will also provide network downloads for avail schedules and program listings.

To maximize inventory, the VideoDirect Traffic and Billing software systems utilizes scheduling priorities, pre-empt statuses and inventory projections. Commercials are scheduled using customized priorities and statuses that reflect individual system requirements.

VideoDirect ad insertion systems are built on a four-card chassis frame. The systems are built in 4 channel increments handling up to 16 channels. Additional channels may be added if desired. The Traffic and Billing software package is built to work with customized and expanding systems.

VideoDirect Traffic and Billing is equipped with a sales-force management tool. This tool makes it a breeze to track the goals, objectives and achievements of individual account executives, groups and various regions. End of the month tracking is also available for totaling commissions and incentives.
