London, UK & Oslo, Norway -- Active Loop Television AS (Oslo,
Norway) has cooperated with EMAP (London, UK) to launch interactive
formats for yet another channel; Kerrang! (http://www.kerrang-tv.co.uk/).
Already, EMAP channels “The Hits TV” and ”Smash Hits” are powered by
software from never.no.
The formats are lower 3rd entertainment games, overlaid over
existing video. |

never.no has
delivered its Auto Dialogue System (ADS) and Interactivity Desk (ID)
in hosted versions, and installed three Dynamic Content Schedulers (DCS)
for Vizrt connecting to EMAP’s existing Vizrt CGs at EMAP’s
broadcast facility in London. The software facilitates the setup,
control and playback of the formats, as well as the communication
with the SMS gateway provider, and generation of MMS animations sent
to participating viewers. The system is activated through EMAPs
existing Pebble Beach automation system.

Interactivity Desk, an editorial system for content
management and moderation of all types of viewer input, simple
broadcast control functions, and functions for preparation and

scheduling and configuration of broadcast time, and for automatic
interaction with graphics systems, video servers and other content
management systems, automation systems and station clocks.
