Triad NPS Helps Large Telcos and Video Transport Providers

Atlanta, GA –– Enhanced Telecommunications (d/b/a) ETI Software
Solutions, Inc., a leading provider of automated, flow-through
service activation software, has launched Triad NPS, a solution to
help large telcos, service bureaus and content providers
cost-effectively provision IPTV video. |
ETI’s Triad NPS helps
large telcos, service bureaus and video transport providers
cost-effectively manage and provision IPTV services. Each processor
can service up to 100 remote head-ends and support more than 1
million subscribers. For each head-end, subscriber and service
information in Triad NPS may be segregated to a separate database
instance. This advanced architecture ensures controlled, secured
access to each service provider’s or franchise’s own subscriber
data.
The NPS platform provides:
- A centralized, unified
subscriber management system administering any IPTV middleware
instance or product
- Automatic flow through
provisioning of subscriber set-top boxes
- Pre-existing interfaces with
more than 30 billing systems commonly used in the telephone
industry
- Inventory Management System to
manage CPE equipment such as set-top and NIDs
- Centralized reporting of
subscriber, services, Pay-Per-View and VOD purchases
- Privacy of subscriber, service
and PPV purchase-centric data
Triad NPS-100 also simplifies the
daily maintenance and operations of many smaller and remote sites,
which have special needs such as competitive pricing of services,
different channel line-ups, carriage of off-air TV and local
emergency alert systems, local origination of public service
affairs, government and public community activities and local
ad-insertion.

The centralized Triad NPS system can be licensed to provision any of
ETI’s supported IPTV interfaces. Triad’s provisioning interfaces
provide full support for all features and functions available for
each technology, (e.g., device management, VOD support,
auto-discovery). Each Triad ORG may also provide access for a
billing system to drive subscriber data to the Triad database via
the Triad Host API. This process facilitates automated provisioning
directly from the billing system. ETI has pre-integrated interfaces
with the major billing systems commonly used in the industry.
