IP-based audio-visual presentation solution to Cisco Systems

Hong Kong -- IP systems integrator BNS Ltd has been appointed to
upgrade Cisco System’s Singapore and Seoul Customer Briefing Centres
with a ground breaking IP-based audio-visual system.
The installations follow BNS’s successful delivery of a similar
system for Cisco System’s Customer Briefing Center in Hong Kong in
December 2006.
Connected via an IP network and centrally programmed and controlled
using easy to operate atmospherics® management software by US
software solutions provider Cloud Systems, the systems are scalable
to the most complex audio-visual environments including multi-room,
multi-facility locations. |

The systems enable
Cisco personnel to rapidly create smooth and seamless audio visual
presentations for technology demonstrations. It also allows the
control of demonstration equipment via multiple devices, such as a
Cisco IP phone, a standard web browser, Tablet PCs, touchpads, wall
plates, or any IP enabled PDA device.
Easy to operate with a simple one-click-to go interface that does
not require any special training, the solution brings simplicity to
usually complicated technology presentations and reduces overall
presentation times dramatically as presenters can focus on the
customer and his presentation, rather than on the AV.
In Singapore, the Briefing Centre will feature two HD media walls
and nine demo stand providing access to interactive demos of Cisco
technologies, as well as an ultra high resolution multimedia and
video wall in the Cisco Demo Theater. The system provides video
output to a total of 28 HDTV units and monitors and manages
audio/video and multimedia sources from 60+ servers.
In Seoul, the Briefing Centre will be fitted with one HDTV media
wall, four demo stands and the system managing 13 HDTV units and
monitors and 30+ servers.
The Cisco Customer Briefing Centre in Singapore was inaugurated on
the 26th of February and the Seoul Briefing Centre will be
operational by mid March.
