SET-TOP SOLUTIONS TO INEA

Geneva, Switzerland: Advanced Digital Broadcast, a leading supplier
of technology to the global digital television industry, announced
today that it is supplying Poland’s INEA (www.inea.pl) – the largest
local operator in the Wielkopolska region – with two advanced high
definition interactive digital cable solutions.

ADB’s open standards based solutions are delivered via the
ADB-5810CDX high definition digital video recorder and the
ADB-5810CD high definition set-top box. Both products include
EURODOCSIS 2.0, a USB 2.0 port for media access and Timeshift, and
Ethernet for interactivity and future services such as
Video-on-Demand. The products are also home networking capable and
come with ADB’s advanced user interface, which is making TV viewing
as simple and as fast as it should be.

Both products are already reaching consumers homes throughout
Poland’s Wielkopolska region.
INEA (www.inea.pl) is the largest regional telecom operator in
Wielkopolska, which provides services using state-of-the-art,
extensive fibre optic network as well as WiMAX Broadband Wireless
Access Technology, based on the IEEE 802.16e standard. INEA offers
integrated telecommunications services – quadruple play (4-Play):
digital and high definition television, broadband Internet, landline
and mobile telephony. INEA provides both Internet and landline
telephony services using wireless WiMax technology. The Operator

In the Wielkopolska region there are more than 200 000 households
within the cable network. At present 138 000 households use services
provided by INEA. With 50% saturation regarding digital services
among TV Subscribers, INEA is proud to be the most digitalised cable
network. More than 50 percent of its Subscribers also use Internet

Subscribers using telephony services
