INTEK Digital Select ANT Galio Suite
for HbbTV

First devices to be showcased at ANGA Cable Show
Cambridge: ANT, the leading provider of software and services
for the delivery of digital TV, today announced that leading device
manufacturer, INTEK Digital, has licensed the ANT Galio Suite. The
suite is
an HbbTV (Hybrid Broadcast Broadband TV) ready platform providing a
complete
go-to-market solution. INTEK Digital will showcase its first set-top
boxes
based on ANT's software at the ANGA Cable Show which runs 4 – 6 May
in
Cologne, Germany. INTEK Digital will use the show to demonstrate the
HbbTV
functionality of this new set-top box.

The HbbTV initiative was launched in August 2009 to provide an open
platform
for hybrid services based on Web technologies. INTEK Digital will
benefit
from ANT's strong experience of the initiative. As a founding member
of the
group, ANT has played an active role in taking the specification to
market.
The ANT Galio HbbTV Platform is the first solution to be
commercially
deployed, with a launch into the German retail market in 2009. With
a
reputation of developing and deploying high quality, innovative
set-top
boxes, INTEK Digital is well positioned to target the fast growing
HbbTV
market.
