In today’s competitive market, controlling end-to-end quality of
service is essential for operators who wish to keep their customers,
increase their revenue and grow their market share.
Witbe, with their unique Quality of Experience (QoE) multi-play
(voice-data-video-mobile) monitoring technology, has been chosen by
all of the French operators to provide service validation, real-time
supervision, performance monitoring and communication to the market. |

Alice speaks about
quality: The operator first got in touch with Witbe to validate the
developments of its TV and VoD services and to carry out Triple Play
service monitoring from Lille, Marseille and Toulouse. This project
meant that Alice are now able to publish a report on their website,
updated weekly, on their Triple Play services.
Bouygues Telecom integrates Witbe from the
start of their offers: Bouygues Telecom is the newest player in the
French residential Triple Play market. They selected Witbe to work
with them from the conception of their residential services and
landline services to TPE/PME. As well as doing tests and
validations, Witbe also monitors Bouygues Telecom’s service
performance.
DartyBox controls the SLAs of its partners:
DartyBox’s technical teams are using Witbe robots to oversee their
Triple Play services and monitor their technological partners’
commitments.
The operator Numericable reinforces its Triple Play monitoring with
Witbe: Numericable is using Witbe robots for end-to-end monitoring
of high output Internet services, TV, VoD and telephony in France
and Belgium.
HDTV and Satellite monitoring for Orange: Orange was the first
operator to choose Witbe, in 2004, for national monitoring of its
IPTV and VoD services. Today Witbe and the Orange Labs teams
collaborate on numerous projects, including high definition voice
quality and vide quality. Orange recently renewed Witbe to monitor
its HD TV services and its new satellite broadcasting.
Residential and business, fixed and mobile monitoring services for
SFR: After putting out for tender in the first quarter of 2007, SFR
chose Witbe to carry out tests and monitoring on its Triple Play
services and data-voice solutions for TPE and PME.
Witbe also counts others in France among its
clients: Club internet (T-Online France), bought in 2007 by Neuf
Cegetel; Tele2France, bought in 2007 by SFR and Neuf Cegetel and
integrated into SFR in 2008.
Today, Witbe solutions are also used by the main operators in more
than 15 countries around the world.
About Witbe
N-play usages such as watching TV, using VoD services, making phone
calls or accessing the internet via landline or mobile networks have
revolutionized the way operators work and their areas of
responsibility.
To respond to the new challenge of tests and end-to-end service
monitoring, since 2000, Witbe has been developing an innovative
approach to measuring the actual quality delivered: Quality of
Experience monitoring (QoE).
Witbe’s unique technology provides indicators
of perceived quality measured by its robots, which continuously
reproduce user behaviour. Witbe, thanks to its MOS algorithms
qualifying real-time image and sound quality from the STB, has been
regarded since 2004 as the reference for IPTV services monitoring.
Witbe works with the main operators throughout the whole world:
Spain, France, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Switzerland, Netherlands,
Austria, Greece, Morocco, the UK, Singapore, Korea and Taiwan
amongst others.
