The executive said that the operator
is “ready to launch an IPTV offer in the short term, if it decides
to do so”, adding that the possibility has been raised due to
“repositioning of the strategic vision” of the company due to the
“opportunities of growth which exist in the Portuguese market.”
Coimbra added that this could well take place next year, and noted
that with a strong presence in the ADSL segment, Vodafone already
meets all the infrastructure requirements. The executive also
mentioned that Vodafone Portugal is considering taking part in
Portugal's ongoing DTT tender. |
