Babelgum
announces 30 new content deals for IPTV service

July 16, 2007 – IPTV provider Babel Networks has announced 30 new
content deals signed for its Babelgum IPTV service.
These include big names such as the BBC and Reuters, as well as a
raft of independent and niche producers. Silvio Scaglia, Babelgum’s
Chairman and co-founder, commented: “We’re creating an entirely new
environment in which users will have access to a vast library of
footage that satisfies their particular requirements… The
agreement’s we’ve announced today will be followed by many more as
we build a library of up to 100,000 hours of independent and
mainstream content from around the world.” |

Babelgum will also offer exclusive
coverage of the Rushes Soho Shorts Film Festival, an annual event
for established and new filmmakers of short films.
