Pixelmetrix, the global expert in Preventive Monitoring for digital
television and IPTV networks, will present its rapidly deployed
DVStation-IP, the complete IPTV Quality of Service monitoring engine
and the DVStorIP-Gen IPTV Test Stream Generator, at the TVoDSL 2007
Triple Play Showcase.
The recently launched VISUALmpegPRO, an MPEG analyzer will also be
featured along with these IPTV service validation tools. The
VISUALmpegPRO allows for visual inspection of all aspects of MPEG
video coding right from bit rate to macroblock motion vector
analysis. Attributes of the VISUALmpegPRO include Quantizer Values,
Picture Frequencies, MPEG Artifacts, Frame Quality Index, DCT
Coefficients and Error Logger. It supports detailed analysis of
MPEG-1, MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 Part 10 (H.264) video, presenting an ideal
R&D system for MPEG experts. |

The DVStation-IP is a
sleek, feature-rich system that provides MPEG-2 transport stream
analysis and monitoring over an IP connection via a 10, 100 and
1000Mbps Ethernet port. It offers remote control and automation
platform - ideal for operators requiring the transmission of video
and data over Internet or other IP networks. Live Video Display that
allows visual confirmation of program content presence, Service View
that spans multiple TS, displays MPEG-2 and H.264 video thumbnails,
critical TS and audio/video parameters in a concise format, as well
as IP input payload capability of up to 500Mbps are some of its key
features. A combination of real-time signal measurements and
user-configurable alarm thresholds are also integrated.
The DVStorIP-Gen works as an effective IPTV stress test tool for the
evaluation, compliance testing and verification of networks. It
supports SPTS and MPTS generation, with support for UDP and RTP
streaming as well. Each generated transport stream can be forwarded
to up to 100 target IP destinations, identified by the IP address
and port number. It can also generate up to seven unique transport
streams simultaneously, and up to 900Mbps of IPTV traffic, making it
an efficient solution for IPTV service providers, monitoring and
network equipment providers. The DVStorIP-Gen simulates real network
conditions by injecting different types of errors or impairments
that can occur in the end-to-end delivery chain of an IPTV system.
TVoDSL will take place in France, from January 23 to 26, 2007.
